Structural engineering services for the design of modifications to existing platforms to accommodate three (3) car trains and level boarding at the following stations: Dallas Zoo Station, Tyler/Vernon Station, Hampton Station, and Westmoreland Station. Cost: $8,000,000.

Barksdale Air Force Base – Shreveport, LA.

Structural engineering services for major renovation and addition to Building B5341, the command and control center, for the Air Force Global Strike Command’s Eighth Air Force. Construction Completed.


DART Irving Orange Line Design/Build Project (I&II).

Structural engineering services for the design of six passenger stations, two deferred stations, pedestrian bridges, elevated walkways, CIP retaining walls, MSE walls, TPSS enclosures, crew buildings, bus shelters and other appurtenances. Stations in this contract included: Loop 12 Station (Deferred), University of Dallas Station, South Las Colinas Station, Las Colinas Urban Center Station, Irving Convention Center Station, Las Colinas Carpenter Ranch Station (Deferred), North Lake College Station and Belt Line Station. Construction completed. Cost:  $435,000,000.

DART FTA/ADA 2011 Station Compliance Project – Dallas, Garland, and Plano, TX.

Civil engineering services for the design of modifications, to include accessible routes to park and ride facilities, light rail facilities, transit centers and commuter rail stations; curb ramps; signage and handrails. The following stations were included:  Park Lane Station, Downtown Garland Rail Station and Transit Facility, Parker Road Station and Transit Facility, and Ledbetter Station. Cost: $624,000.

W. A. Blair Elementary School – Dallas, TX.

Structural engineering services for the design of a single-story, 20,000 square foot, 15-classroom addition to an existing school, which also included restrooms and circulation space. Construction completed. Cost: $7,038,000.

Tarrant Regional Water District and City of Dallas Integrated Pipeline Project (IPL) – Sections 17 & 18.  (The $2.3 billion IPL project will deliver a required capacity of 350 million gallons per day of raw water to North Central Texas).

Civil and structural engineering services for the following: preparation of the sustainability study along with erosion control methods to be utilize for the entire project; the identification and design of haul/access roads, staging areas, spoil sites, re-use sites, and temporary easement requirements; the complete design of approximately 5,600 LF of 108-inch bypass steel pipeline and pertinent fittings around the JB2 Booster Pump Station; the complete design of approximately 5,200 LF of 108-inch pipeline using both PCCP and steel for Segment 17; the design of PCCP and steel pipe thrust restraint for sections 17 and 18 alignment; the structural design of valve vaults along the bypass pipeline; and QC review of design of the tunnel under the Trinity River. Under construction. Cost: $94,300,000.00.

City of Dallas Five Mile Creek Hike and Bike Trail Project Phase I.

Structural engineering services for the design of a 14’ x 90’ pre-fabricated steel bridge across the tributary branch located at the east side of Glendale Park and west of Lancaster Road. Bridge, abutments and approach segments were designed to withstand flood conditions. Also included numerous cast-in-place concrete retaining walls, gabion walls, elevated walkways and at grade walkways. Construction completed. Cost: $2,500,000.
Robert T. Hill Middle School Expansion – Dallas, TX.

Structural engineering services for both an expansion and a renovation of an existing school. The expansion consisted of the design of a two-story, 15,000 square foot, 10-classroom addition to the school. The renovation required structural services for chiller replacement, cooling tower replacement, grease trap upgrades, dumpster pad and enclosure, locker room air conditioning and kitchen infrastructure upgrades. Construction completed. Cost: $4,991,500.
